A breathtaking race in a magical place...

 

In a journey through time and the ancient myths of Mount Olympus we invite you all to meet in the 2nd Vintage Olympus Rally, which will take place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th of October 2013 in the Regional Unit of Larissa, Central Greece. A record of 91 impressive classic vintage cars participate in the 2nd Vintage Olympus Rally-18th Macedonian Piloting 2013 from all over Greece and many neighbouring Balkan countries starting from Larissa (Oct. 12th) and after a stunning journey to Olympus finish next day (Oct. 13th) in Elassona, a beautiful area known for its history and its archaeological and Byzantine monuments.Many sport events focusing on Mount Olympus (mountain skiing, hiking, climbing, motocross racing, mountain bike racing, marathons for highly skilled athletes such as Faethon Olympus Marathon etc).  

 

The 2nd Vintage Olympus Rally organized by the acclaimed secondary NGO “Perrevia Network”, which is a network of Voluntary Organisations, three of the well known Classic Car Clubs of Greece, the Club of Macedonia (LEKAM), the Club of Larissa and the Club of Volos, all participating as members in the Greek Federation of Old Cars’ Fans, with long tradition and experience in organizing classic rallies with highly recognised standards.  This particular race is part of the "Polynikis" league supervised by the Greek Federation, which is a member of the International Federation (FIVA). 

 

This special and unique event in the shadow of the mythic Mount Olympus is under the auspices of the Region of Thessaly (Larissa Unit), the Municipalities of Larissa and Elassona and the “Perrevia Network” NGO.
